PAINTING SAN FRANCISCO SINCE 1984

EAMON KAVANAGH

After serving a 4 year apprenticeship in Ireland, Eamon arrived in the U.S. in 1984. He travelled throughout the U.S. and landed in San Francisco for 3 days. He is still here, over three decades later! His first job was in a restaurant waiting tables. The owner of the restaurant asked him to do a few painting jobs on the side and the seed of Kavanagh Painting was planted. Eamon was a one man show for a couple of years but as the business grew he started hiring other painters to help him.

JOE MCCARTHY

Joe McCarthy was one of Eamon's original crew. They spent a few years working on the Marina after the Loma Prieta earthquake of 1989 building up a reputation for great workmanship, good customer relations, reliability and punctuality. Today Joe is chief estimator and is also on the tools wherever possible. Joe served his time in Cork as a panel beader and spray painter and his all-round craftsmanship is reflected in his attentions to detail on trim and doors.

JORGE PAZ

One of the best hires Kavanagh Painting has made is Jorge Paz. He has been with us for over 17 years and is an integral part of the business. Over the years, Kavanagh Painting has hired many members of Jorge’s relatives and has two of his cousins currently employed, Freddy and Joaquin both who are with the company for 7 years. Both are very welcoming addition to Kavanagh Painting.
